As I have mentioned before, I have different passions and dreams (like travelling, teaching, singing, acting, outdoor sports and partying), but there is nothing else I like more than dancing. Dancing gives me all the energy I need to succeed in my every day life and makes me very excited and happy. I have been dancing for quite a lot of years and learning different styles. Latin and urban styles are my two favourites, and since I moved to Valencia I have discovered two amazing places to train and dance (check this out if you want to find out about party places in Valencia). If you love traveling and happen to be exploring and staying in the incredible city of Valencia, and more importantly, if you are crazy and passionate about dancing like me, then do not stop reading!

Dancing has different benefits for you health: increased flexibility, reduced stiffness, increased muscular strength, endurance and aerobic fitness. It also improves muscle tone and strength, and more importantly, it helps you to make friends, to reduce stress, to gain confidence in yourself and to gain energy. These are just some reasons why dancing is so important for human beings and why people should be willing to dance anywhere they go. As Wyne Dyer says, "when you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor, it's to enjoy each step along the way".

Dance Center Valencia

If there is a place in Valencia where the best dancers and people gather together to dance and have a good time, that place is called Dance Center Valencia. It is a very cool dancing school with an incredible multicultural atmosphere, with dancers from different parts of the world. The teachers are amazing dancers and their classes are so fun, and they offer different different dancing styles for different levels ranging from classical ballet, flamenco, hip-hop, contemporary, salsa and bachata amongst many others. This is the place where I spend my Tuesday and Thursday mornings improving my dancing skills and enjoying, and I fully recommend you to visit and try if you like dancing and if you are staying in Valencia for a while.

Asucar

Salsa, bachata and kizomba are becoming very popular dancing styles nowadays, and many European people are learning them. If you are spending your holidays in Valencia and want to dance and meet some people, then you should go to Asucar (yes Asucar with "s"). It is the best place in Valencia in my opinion, with two big rooms that are normally busy and a very cool DJ that plays salsa, bachata, and kizomba music. They also organise classes and shows during the week and the weekends, and have a nice bar with drinks and an area with sofas and tables to have a break from dancing.

In my opinion, being able to combine travelling and dancing is ideal, and it helps you to soak the energy from the place while you meet people and have fun!
