New Aquitaine

Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the largest administrative region in France, located in the southwest of the country. Bordered to the west by Atlantic Ocean, and to the east by the regions of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes and Occitanie....

The economic vitality of the region and its principal cities like, Bordeaux or Poitier are known for its scientific Futuroscope Theme Park. The coast and its beaches are an attraction for the panorama they offer, and are well suited to oyster farming. The famous and very popular Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron are located off the coast. With its hills, ponds and valleys, its landscapes, vegetation and soil reveal the combined influence of the ocean to the west and the proximity of mountain ranges Auvergne. But the region also has a terrain made up largely of fertile plains, it has opted to focus its economic activity on agriculture, wine-growing and fishing. Without forgetting about the beach resorts of Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz are well-known recreational areas for swimmers and surfers.
