Bacău

Bacău is a county located in the north-eastern part of Romania. It shares borders with Moldova and Ukraine, and its capital city is Bacău, one of the most important cities in East of Romania with around 140,000 people....

On its west side lies the mountains of the Eastern Carpathian group, and on the east side the Moldavian Plateau which is crossed by many small rivers. Its main tourist destinations are: the cities of Bacău and Onești, the Nemira Mountains and the multiple spa resorts near Slănic-Moldova, Poiana Sărată, Târgu Ocna and Poiana Uzului.
