Bistrița-Năsăud


Bistrița-Năsăud is a county of Romania located in Transylvania. Its capital city is Bistrița, one of the oldest town in the region....

Its landscape is a mix of mountains (Eastern Carpathians group) and plateaus (North-Eastearn part of the Transylvanian Plateau). Bistrița-Năsăud is famous for its lakes, caves and health resorts, but also for hosting many historical sites. The main tourist activities there are: the town of Bistrita, the Colibata lake and the Rodnei National Park (where you can admire the Lala and Lezer lakes).
