Västernorrland County

Västernorrland County is a county in the north of Sweden. It is bordered by the counties of Gävleborg, Jämtland, Västerbotten and the Gulf of Bothnia....

The name means 'Western Norrland', as it was in the western part of the original Norrland. Visit the Norra Berget, an open air museum especially if your visiting the area during the summer months when there is full activity. For a more cultural experience there is the Namforsens Hallristningsmuseum, a museum dedicated to the history of the area. If you are interested in some hiking, there is a wide variety of parks with a mesmerizing nature such as Skuleberget, Skulebergets linbana or Villa Fraxinus.
