Mediterranean Turkey is located in the south of the country and it has all the access to the Mediterranean sea....

In the north you can see the Cilician mountains, a beautiful verdant mountain scenery dotted by ancient citadels, all just a stone thrown away from hundreds of kilometres. The Lake District is a part of the region where many lakes cross each other making it a perfect tourist attraction in the summer. The capital of the region is the city of Antalya, a sweet coast city in the Mediterranean sea. The region also has several Roman ruins like Patara and Olympos. But the one you should not miss are the Xanthos and Letoon that are part of the UNESCO programme.
