Southeastern Anatolia is located in the southeastern part of the country. It borders on its south Syria and Iraq....

In the region you will find the small village of Hasankeyf, located on the blanks of the Tigris river. On the top of the city’s citadel you will encounter the best view on the bridge. Next to this city there is the city of Diyarbakir, an old and unic city. Get around the city and see the different cultures with mosques and churches coexisting. Do not forget to visit also the city walls for a panoramic view of city. One of the most impressive cities of the country is Halfeti, a half swallowed city. If you want to visit it, have to go there by boat. In the west of the region lies the Mount Nemrut. A mountain with statues on its top that are part of the UNESCO programme, and the village of Kahta.
