Amongst the myriad of things you can see and visit in Lisbon, there are also great restaurants. The Portuguese gastronomic scene is actually very well stacked! Not just international chefs, but a lot of national ones have risen to lead a gourmet gastronomic revolution in Portugal. Food lovers, this one is for you.

In Lisbon, you can find restaurants by some top-level chefs, spread out throughout the city! If you are already tired of looking around in this busy city or you are just on a quick trip, my suggestion is to just head to El Corte Inglês’ Gourmet Experience in São Sebastião.

The building is very easy to find, and when you are there, just take the elevator to the top floor! On the seventh floor, you will have not only one, not two, but five restaurants lead by Michelin Star chefs, like Henrique Sá Pessoa, José Avillez, Pepe Solla, and Roberto Ruiz. Plus, you will find even more gastronomic delights.

All the restaurants listed above have vastly different tastes, concepts, and moods, so pick what suits you best this time, and maybe the next, you will try another! Perhaps you'll even find some new places and tastes during your next visit since they are continually modernizing.

Time for dessert

After dinner, if you are still a bit gluttonous, you can have an excellent dessert on one of the many shops next to the restaurants. The desserts range from ice cream and chocolate cake to more classical egg-based sweets and many more.

A budget-friendly option

Lastly, if you are in the area and still interested in having a nice dinner but for a lower price, then you can head to the 7th floor and dine in El Corte Inglês own restaurant, which is also pretty good! Or you could shop at the small market next to it called "Club del Gourmet."
