It's definitely worth a visit, as you shall not miss the opportunity to taste those very special meals.
Lake Balaton and its unique towns are popular tourist destinations. Thus, you don’t even have to travel too much from here to reach further worthy scenes of life at the Lake, such as Siófok or Zamárdi, the home to Balaton Sound Festival. Sauska 48 is one of the best wine-tasting restaurants in its region, but since 2017 the Sauska estate welcomes their guests with a new conception. The chef calls the concept a "modern peasant gourmet", which means a simple rural, sincere kitchen style. One of the most outstanding restaurants in the South Hungarian region operates as a part of a boutique hotel in Szeged, which is the third biggest city in Hungary. In addition to the "traditional" Hungarian dishes, Szeged’s well-known course, fish soup is also displayed. Meanwhile, the international specialties are also provided, and the kitchen strives for seasonality.
