As promised, I am continuing to present the best rooftop bars of the Hungarian capital, encouraging you to have a drink with the best view of Budapest when you are around. Night outs with your friends are a lot more exciting when you feel the height. Here come 4 other places that you must visit when in Budapest.

High Note SkyBar

On the elegant rooftop of the Aria Hotel, you can experience the high altitude feeling. You just have to sit back on the comfortable couch and enjoy the wonderful panorama. After dark, the scenery is magical with the lit Chain Bridge, the Buda Castle and the Matthias Church in the distance. Oh, and obviously, there is the captivating St. Stephen’s Basilica, which is right next to High Note SkyBar. It is a fancy place to have a drink with your friends, as well as a great spot and an opportunity for a cozy date with your crush.

Corvin Club

Since the great opening of the Corvin Club, almost every Budapest citizen has been there at least once, because it is a spotless place for concerts, friendly or business meetings, dates, and it even has a rooftop cinema. Its location couldn’t be any better. The Corvin Club is in the middle of the city, and it is easily accessible by public transportation or by car. Beer is not more expensive than at other bars around the downtown, and the neighbouring environment makes a pleasant atmosphere.

Intermezzo Restaurant & Roof Terrace

The top of the Hotel President has been famous for its helipad (landing platform for helicopters), but today instead of helicopters, BBQ dinners, cocktail parties and yoga classes are held at the hotel's 29-meter-high roof deck, called Intermezzo Restaurant & Roof Terrace. It is barely surprising that the rooftops are so popular nowadays. There is something exciting and exclusive when you look down the city, having your Aperol Spritz with a view of the Basilica, the Citadel and the Hungarian Parliament in front of you. The Intermezzo Restaurant & Roof Terrace is situated on Hold Street, which is one of the busiest in Budapest. I really recommend checking it out.

Liebling

Functioning as a salon, wine bar and club at the same time, here you can taste the wines after a long day, or pre-drink before a rough Friday or Saturday night, thanks to their wide range of vodka, whiskey and rum in the selection. It is one of the favourite venues for those who love entering the nightlife. The Liebling is open all year - not only for those who are interested in parties but also for emerging musicians who have a chance here to entertain the audience with their live shows. Although the view is not the best here, still it doesn’t have the reputation of an ordinary bar. I’d rather say that it gives the feeling of being on a roof terrace of a wealthy buddy of yours. Besides the atmosphere, the Liebling is also a good choice for its cheap drinks, snacks and hot meals.
