The ÇAĞDAŞ ARTSLAR MÜZESİ, located at the center of Anadolu University Yunusemre Campus, is one of the examples of the First National Architecture Period and was used as Military Barracks and Talimgah Binası during the period. This structure was registered at the request of Anadolu University with the article 358 dated 09.12.1988 of the T. C. Ministry of Culture Konya Preservation of Cultural and Natural Assets. The single-storey rectangular planned structure, which began in 1998 and was repaired in thirty months, is 13,25 x 43,15 m. The inside height of the wooden ceiling is 3.80 m. Exterior façade is painted yellow-beyza by adhering to original. The museum, located in the green area near the parking lot, has three exhibition halls, each 110 m² in size, as well as documents and management departments.


The museum collection has been the result of artistic accumulation that has developed over the years. The Palet Art Gallery, which has been serving Turkish Art for 10 consecutive years under the supervision of the Applied Fine Arts High School and then the Fine Arts Faculty, has brought the works of domestic and foreign artists exhibiting their products to the collections of the university. A collection of contemporary art museums was created with works selected from the collections of the university. There are 186 Turkish, 51 foreign and 237 artists' works in the museum collection that will be enriched over time.
