B&B Cantico delle Creature

The B & B Cantico delle Creature adjoins the wall of the Convent of San Damiano. It is immersed in the green of the Assisi countryside, rich in spontaneous vegetation and cultivated fields. It is surrounded by olive trees, oaks, walnuts and fruit trees of all kinds, with a vegetable garden cultivated directly by us. The main building has an architecture typical of the Umbrian rural tradition. It was rebuilt by our family in the '60s on a ruin of the' 700, leaving unchanged the plant and the style of the constructions of that period. Even with the restorations made later we tried to keep the same architectural features. The rooms of our structure are five all equipped with private bathroom; three very large double bedrooms completely new, equipped with every comfort. A triple room furnished with original vintage Umbrian furniture and objects and a smaller single bedroom, always furnished with traditional furniture. The particular position of the Bed & Breakfast Cantico delle Creature allows you to choose between walks in the countryside, or visits to the monuments of the historic center of Assisi, which can be easily reached on foot. The close proximity to the Sanctuary of San Damiano (only 50 meters away by a staircase) offers guests the opportunity to experience a mystical and peaceful place. For those who wish, we provide bicycles for excursions within the Regional Park of Mount Subasio or trips to the plains where you can visit the many medieval villages nearby. On request we also organize trekking days in the Monte Subasio Park. During the harvesting and pressing of the olives (October, November), we also organize guided tours at a stone mill with tasting of Umbrian extra virgin olive oil. The B & B is located in a quiet but not at all isolated, the junction of the E45 highway is just 5 minutes and allows you to easily reach the train station in 10 min, the international airport in 20 min, Spello in 15, Foligno in 20, Perugia in 25.
