The late Romanesque Basilica of St. Veit, one of the most important Romanesque vaulted buildings in Schwaben. The late Romanesque church was built between 1182 and 1233 as a monastery church. It is the third church at this point and dates back to the year 764 - the founding year of Ellwangen. In 1460, the basilica became the court church of the princely provosts and, from 1952, the parish church still used today. Picture © Credits to Wikipedia/AlexanderRahm
