This building, known as Central Tejo, or the Electricity Museum, was made in the beginning of the XX century as an electrical power plant. Nowadays its structure and machinery is still preserved but it serves as a museum, to tell about electricity and its past and future importance, but also for temporary exhibitions of national and international modern art, in collaboration with the newer MAAT museum, located right next to it. © André Jesus
