El Puerto Tapasbar

El Puerto Tapasbar opened in May 2016, after a long time wishing to get Spanish tapas to Esbjerg. The venue became the old restaurant Gammelhavn, where we inside the house have created a Spanish-inspired restaurant.

We have taken this step forward just by sausage, ham and cheese and serve a variety of cold and hot tapas dishes based on classic tapas dishes from different Spanish regions.

Tapas is regional in Spain, in some places they eat almost exclusively fish, elsewhere pintxos and a third place something quite third. We have made a combination that we continue to develop and add new dishes to the card.

El Puerto is warmly decorated with classic Spanish colors, burnt red, warm yellow and lots of rustic ornaments, and images that send your mind towards warmer skies. The interior is rustic, old and new combined. All food is served in classic red bowls and fats imported from Portugal.

Of course we serve Spanish wines, Spanish specialty beer, draft beer and our absolute favorites sangria and cava drinks.

We regularly check these pages and will answer your review to the extent that we have the time to do so. We prioritize time with our guests here in the house, and not so much to answer reviews on various online media. However, we always recommend that you contact us directly if you want a dialogue about your visit.
