FAI - Parco Villa Gregoriana

A thick forest of giant trees, vestiges of ancient buildings, vertiginous cliffs, steep rocks, green glades sunlit, rocky paths, small galleries, natural caves. A few steps from Rome, located in Tivoli Villa Gregoriana Park, wanted by Pope Gregory XVI to fix the old bed of the river Aniene upset by the disastrous flood of 1826. destination of travelers, poets, artists, kings and emperors over the centuries, but reduced to a state of decay and neglect at the end of the twentieth century, Villa Gregoriana Park was riapero to the public in 2005 thanks to the FAI after an impressive work of landscape restoration.
