Description

Galerie Daniel Maghen is above all a story of passion. Daniel's Maghen, its founder, for comics. He made his profession. In 1990 he launched the market for original drawings and in 2003 opened the doors of the gallery, on the banks of the Seine in Paris. Today Maghen gallery has the largest permanent collection in Europe, with nearly 8,000 drawings of comics, over 300 different authors. Twenty exhibitions are organized every year, for the delight of authors, comic strip fans and other lovers of graphic arts, which regularly meet there at openings and dedications, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. In 2005 DM editions have emerged. Since then, thousands of players have taken beautiful books of Olivier Ledroit illustrations and Emmanuel Lepage and Biographies now famous images of André Juillard, Cosey and Vicomte. In 2008 Comics Collection was launched successfully. Since 2011, the Galerie Daniel Maghen works in partnership with Christie's for organizing sales auction original cartoon illustration and prestige.
