Inter-war atmosphere, a scene, a piano. People sitting at the tables, waiting ... a show, a song, exhibitions, meetings, talks. One of the few venues in the city devoted exclusively to independent cultural events, Godot presents young artists every night: contemporary plays, concerts, improvisational shows, film screenings, photo exhibitions, and book launches.   The manifest initiative of Godot Cafe-Theater, aims to promote independent, contemporary performances and strong anchorages in everyday reality. The stakes we set are to stage performances throughout the year to develop an organic phenomenon of young actors as well as to highlight the need for the existence and support of this theatrical phenomenon in Romania.   More than 200 actors, musicians and plastic artists have climbed over the stage at Blankari 14. Besides these, children's shows, acting and improvisation workshops and theater festivals often took place. Among the most beloved productions of the theater are performances such as: "Bullets over Lipscani", "Carpathian Garden", "Sebastian's great love", "Freak Show", "Male-Female", "What we said when we do not talk ". Also, space often produces premieres of different artists. Among the newest prizes are "Gigel" by Alexandru Popa, "It was OK and at 60" with Răzvan Vasilescu, "The Credit" by Jordi Galceran and "Saturday: Averse" by Tudor Coman and Matei Lucaci-Grunberg. During the week, the theater hosts about 16 shows, from 1 to 3 per day.   Thus, Godot Cafe-Theater, hosted an impressive number of artists who played full-length performances. Among them, established names such as Vlad Ivanov, Dorina Chiriac, Marius Manole, Rodica Mandache, Serban Pavlu, Dan Bordeianu, Cristi Iacob, Lia Bugnar, Florin Piersic Jr, Vlad Zamfirescu, Dana Rogoz or Maia Morgenstern; they have concerted important names like Zdob and Zdub, Otros Aires, A.G. Weinberger, Amaro Del, Shukar Collective, Shuu Paparude, The Amsterdams, Nightlosers - Hanno Hoefer, Ada Milea, Luiza Zan, Dan Byron, Irina Sarbu and Marius Mihalache, Teodora Enache.   For five years, directors and actors all over the country chose to mount on the Godot Café Theater, with space being more productive in terms of freedom of production. The theater accepts and encourages contemporary texts, attempts, daring directorial visions and the concepts of young artists. Thus, Godot Cafe Theater, offers the opportunity for graduates or even students to play and play their own productions. In this way, Godot SubScena appeared. Created by young people for young people, space became the first studio hall of an independent theater in Bucharest.

But Godot does not just mean theater and cultural events. The inter-war atmosphere of the café entices customers with a varied menu of coffee, refreshments and alcoholic beverages, as well as special dishes and special menus for the most varied tastes. The Godot team invites customers to start their day with them with an English Breakfast, to continue with a relaxing lunch or a business meeting with a salmon fillet of salmon and a delicious Mil Hojas, assorted salad or even a bratwurst, and the afternoon to listen to live piano music with a lasagna or a light lettuce salad. In addition, in the same unusual note specific to space, customers who walk down the Godot threshold during the day can enjoy coffee and good food while attending rehearsals for future theater-cafe productions.
