The centuries-old traditions of the Count Degenfeld family, the special features of Tokaj-Hegyalja, the love and humbleness of our experts for vine-growing and winemaking, and the high quality and innovation of our wines, are reflected in the philosophy of the vineyards, as "Nobility is Obligated".

The first-class production areas of 100 hectares, of which 35 hectares are cultivated, are located on the Terézia hill in Tarcal and in the hillsides of Mézesmál, Mád and Mezőzombor, in the Galambos and Zomborka vineyards. The center of the winery which preserves its traditions and the most modern technologies in Tarcal is located in the immediate vicinity of the Degenfeld Castle Hotel and the surrounding park, our vineyards and cellars.

Counting with Imre Degenfeld, one of the most significant Tokaj owners and the founder of the Tokaj-Hegyalja Brewery Association, founded in 1857, built on the latest technology, the winery started its operation in 1996 with outstanding professional recognition and the highest satisfaction of our wine tastings.
