Deeply moved by this romantic story of Miramar Castle near Trieste, Otto Busse realized his dream. After he has already been in vain in the Netherlands and along the East and North Frisian coast for a perfect building site for his, Hotel Miramar`Exhibition, he finally found something on Sylt. Since then his dream enthroned as a hospitable house directly on the lake promenade in Westerland, of course, according to its name with the best sea view.

Since its opening 112 years ago, his family has been cultivating and running the treasure chest until today. Otto Busse was sure that only a family-run house can preserve the style and elegance of a classic grand hotel, even over two wars to save over today to preserve tradition, without suffocating in patina.
