The Croatian History Museum is located in the historic center of Zagreb, on the Upper Town in the baroque palace Vojković-Oršić-Kulmer-Rauch, in Matoševo 9. The Museum History of the Croatian Historical Museum includes almost 300,000 museum items systematized in seventeen museum collections (http://www.hismus.hr/hr/zbirke/izbor-iz-fundusa/). Due to the lack of spatial conditions, the Museum has never established a permanent exhibition. His realization is expected by moving the museum to a new location in the facility of industrial architecture, the Tobacco Factory building Zagreb (Klaićeva 13). Within the scope of the Croatian Historical Museum is also the Memorial Museum of Ivan Goran Kovacic poetry in Lukovdol where 2003 open permanent setup.
