Kogawuna Waterfall in Buton Island starts with a large drop and stretches into a series of river pools with cascades between them. Access is relatively easy for such a remote island, with a motorable road almost reaching the falls, and the remaining distance covered on a clear jungle path. The pools are good for swimming, too. © Mark Levitin
