Κρητική Αδελφότητα Ξάνθης

The Cretan Brotherhood of Xanthi is one of the most important clubs of Xanthi.    It was founded in 1934 by residents of Xanthi from Crete, with the aim of contributing to the promotion, preservation and development of the Cretan tradition.    The Cretan Brotherhood of Xanthi is active in the area of ​​Thrace, especially in the region of Xanthi.    It carries the tradition of the Cretan and Thracian blood bonds, a product of the historical path and common national struggles.   The members, both individually and organized, participate in the social, economic and cultural life of Xanthi, transferring the customs and customs of the Cretan tradition.   The aim of the Association is to become more acquainted with, interact and cooperate among the members and to develop solidarity, moral and material support among them as well as to contribute to the emergence, preservation and development of the Cretan tradition.    This goal is achieved with the participation of the Association in all the cultural events of Xanthi and the wider region of Macedonia and Thrace.
