Le Grand Marionnettiste is a 10 m high automaton, located near the Place Ducale and the International Puppet Institute ... It comes alive every hour in the heart of the city. It was installed by Winston Churchill and is a work of Jacques Monestier. He presents every day from 10 am to 9 pm the Ardennes legend of the four sons Aymon in twelve paintings. Every Saturday at 9:15 pm, all the paintings in the legend are presented to the public. A visit to the Musée de l'Ardenne is a reminder of the backstage of this automaton and the names of the donors are engraved on large plates affixed to it.
