Le Vestali guest house enjoys a privileged position in the heart of Tivoli, in one of the largest medieval historical centers in Italy. The block of the building is located between Via del Tempio of Hercules, Via San Valerio and Vicolo Masci, where you can admire terraced houses and medieval towers houses. The elevations of the buildings are from the 16th - 17th centuries. Much of the area was built on a pre-existing Roman era and over the years has survived the many floods by the river Aniene. The witnesses of the time remember how between 16 and 17 November 1826, as a result of the torrential rains of the previous days, the river, swollen to capacity, broke the banks. The destruction and damage were huge. The deviation of the river, adopted as a final solution by Pope Gregory XVI, radically changed the landscape generating the new spectacular waterfall of 110 meters.

We wanted to dedicate this building to the Vestals for their presence in the area. The Vestali Temple is dedicated to the circular plan present on the Acropolis tiburtina of Roman times. Their presence in Tivoli is proven by the Sepulcher of the Vestal Cossinia located on the left bank of the river Aniene.
