MAM'S - Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea

MAM'S: World Art Marche Salvi contemporary art gallery Housed in the stylish and spacious rooms of Palazzo degli Scalzi, the gallery collects about four thousand six hundred and eighty of the works. The entire collection is the result of acquisitions made during the more than sixty years of history of the International Art Exhibition / Prize "G.B. Salvi ", national event second only to the famous Biennale, and named after the great painter of the '600, Giovan Battista Salvi, universally recognized as the Sassoferrato.

 The collection includes three hundred works on display, including paintings, drawings and sculptures, two hundred remaining in the warehouse open behind the exhibition walls, some of which opened, and one hundred and sixty graphic works digitized and viewable. Completing the fifty collection digitized catalogs, relating to as many editions of the Review / Salvi Award. The museum is also equipped with a conference room and eight other rooms equipped for workshops and meetings. The display walls are entirely covered with works such as the ancient collections and are illustrated with quotations from the writings of artists of the twentieth century, who, through their words, return a presence and a model for the artists of today.

The set up is thematic, each wall is built, in fact, as a hypothetical shows, with the ability to vary over time, also exploiting the new acquisitions. Each room is designed as a renewable space for workshops, conferences, concerts, readings, educational experiences of art.

A prestigious collection which contains the works of numerous artists, including even those who have contributed to "write" the history of the last century.
