Mauritz first hit the doors in 2002, where the Skibhus Quarter in Odense was enriched with a café that had a vision to serve well-prepared café food in a cozy setting. Not much has changed since then, except that Mauritz has had greater ambitions. In 2012 Mauritz opened at Læssøegade, where the food is primarily To Go. In 2014, another Mauritz opened on Dalumvej, which offers both To Go and Two Stay in a cozy and modern environment.
Mauritz has a vision of providing good food at reasonable prices, whether or not our customers will enjoy the food in one of our cozy cafes, or in their usual surroundings at home. That's why Mauritz also goes high in quality. The quality already starts with the staff employed in the cafés. The staff represents Mauritz, and therefore only staff are smiling, friendly and quality conscious.
At Mauritz we go on sustainability, and therefore we deal as far as possible with horticulture from the local area - the raw materials used by Mauritz mean the alverden. Therefore, with pride, we can tell that we receive fresh raw materials daily from our Fynian butcher and from the Fynian greenhouses.
.. And then all of our dressings are also homemade!
Then get past one of our cafes where our happy and smiling staff are ready to give you a wonderful experience and end your dinner with a wonderful cup of coffee, which of course is fairtrade!
