Menina e Moça

Located in Rua Nova do Carvalho, Menina e Moça is a very unique kind of place: a bookstore-bar, a bohemian spot that is also a cultural space, with the aim to approximate locals and foreigners to the portuguese language. It is a hommage to national authors, to portuguese gastronomy and to the city of Lisboa. The history of Cais do Sodré is also evoqued, in the fishing nets that protect the book shelves and the ships decorating the ceiling. Along with portuguese titles, there are some international classics. Menina e Moça is the only place around where you can enjoy the evening accompanied by an inspiring book and a great cocktail!
