Musée de Montreux

Located in the historic old town of Montreux, our team welcomes you every day from 10h to 12h and from 14h to 17h. The Montreux Museum is home to rich collections of objects and historical documents from the daily life of the Riviéra, over the centuries. You will be able to admire coins, firearms, a complete carpenter's workshop, watercolors by the painter Théodore Renkewitz (1833-1912), but especially our superb collection of more than 2'100 thimbles as well as many related objects. at the work of lace and embroidery.
