The Botanical Garden of Lausanne invites discovery of nearly 4,000 plants from around the globe. The Alpine Garden of Pont-de-Nant, The Thomasia is located to 1260 meters above sea level, in a unique setting at the foot of the western wall of the Grand Muveran. Balkans to the Andes, through the Himalayas and the Rockies, you can admire the mountains of plant species worldwide. North of the garden, some rock are reserved for native plants in the Vaud Alps.
