Located in Piazza della Maddalena 16, the Civic Museum Lanuvino has recently returned to its original location, inside the nineteenth Town Hall, which was destroyed following the war last world war. With an average of about 2,700 visitors a year, the Civic Museum Lanuvino has promoted of important research projects, the protection and enhancement of the archaeological heritage of the area, creating numerous educational activities and training through guided visits to archaeological monuments fall within the municipal area. It is worth mentioning among all the project of excavation and enhancement of the Sanctuary of Juno Sospita in collaboration with the graduate school of the University "La Sapienza" (Professor of Classical Archaeology Prof. Fausto Zevi) and the Superintendence for the Archaeological Heritage of Lazio. The Museo Civico Lanuvino is inserted in organizing museum Regional (O.M.R.) and in the Castelli Romani Musale system Prenestini (Museumgrandtour). Since 2005 it has also been awarded by the Lazio Region brand "Museum Quality" and since 2009 has obtained the certification HERITY (World Organisation for the Certification of Quality Management of Cultural Heritage).
