Museu Mineiro

The creation of the Mineiro Museum, announced in 1985, in the act establishing the Archivo Mineiro, was determined by the Senate Mining Act in 1910. Its implantation would only occur, however, decades later, in 192, in bases other than those projected in the first decade of the twentieth century. Originally conceived to cover an extensive horizon of collections referring to aspects of the nature, culture and history of Minas Gerais.
