The Museum of Old Maps is located in a Gothic-styled building in Bucharest. The museum’s oldest map is one created on wood by Lorenz Friesz in 1525, depicting the Central Europe of the past. Inside the museum, visitors can also find stained glass windows and murals, illustrating mythological and astronomical symbols.
