Nacimiento del Guadalquivir

The birth (nacimiento) of the most important river in Andalusia, Guadalquivir, occurs in an area of great ecological value within the Natural Park. From Cazorla you can arrive following the road of the Sierra, A319. In the Empalme del Valle you will see an indication of the birth on the right, and you can follow that direction for 4 km until you will find a bridge over the Guadalquivir. When passing the bridge you turn to the right towards the Puente de las Herrerías. From here, without leaving the main road, there are 11 km to El Nacimiento.
