Nukketeatteri Sampo

The Puppet Theater Sampo operates in the center of Helsinki, where the stage, exhibition space and café form a comfortable and functional Puppet Theater Center.

Theater completed 40 years in 2017.

The theater is a fabulous living room for children's culture, where the audience will also enjoy before and after the performance. Sampo's performances are aimed at people of all ages. It combines live music with a diverse, skilful puppet theater expression into a visual fireworks display.

The themes of the plays deal with important things related to human growth through joy, humor and beauty. Sampo's plays have spoken to children and adults for over 40 years.

The puppet theater Sampo has also become known for its high quality children's songs, fairy-tale books and Puppet guides.

There is a shop in the lobby of the theater, where you can find gifts for pupils of all ages, home, school and day care. They can also be ordered by post.

The Sampo Satumainen café operates in connection with the theater and offers lunch and mouth-watering delicacies as well as tasty coffee from 10am to 6pm.
