The Sforza Cesarini park originated as romantic garden made to plant the English style by Duke Lorenzo Sforza-Cesarini (1807-1866) and dedicated to his wife the Duchess Carolina Shirley († 1897). The works were directed by the same architect of the building, Augusto Lanciani, from 1847 to 1857 approximately. It is a historical and natural heritage of great interest, represented by numerous artists on the Grand Tour of the last century with different views of the park and lake. The Cedars of Lebanon, Sequoias and the the Ilex, that draw the profile of the park on the lake and towards the lake and towards the town of Genzano, they are vivid testimony of heritage native vegetation.
