The Playa de Muro beach, in the north of Mallorca, is a beach for the whole family. Located near Alcúdia, it has more than 5 km of golden sand and has the blue flag beach qualification. It is divided into several areas: the one closest to Alcúdia, Es Branc, and Es Comu (virgin beach). It is a beach of contrasts, with areas surrounded by hotels and other areas of the virgin beach that form part of the Natural Park of s'Albufera. Generally, this beach is quieter than its neighbour - Playa d'Alcúdia. This kilometre-long sandy beach is one of the most unspoilt and best-preserved beaches in the north of Mallorca. © José Romo Rodríguez
