Cruz Quebrada beach is a tranquil spot with a sand strip that starts in the Jamor river canal, and thining out moving to the east. Along the shore line there are the train tracks, crossing the river in a nearby bridge, and the Cruz Quebrada train station is very close too, with a parking lot nearby. There is also a long pathway by the seaside that begins here and extends to Caxias, to the west. There are no facilities or beach support, and sometimes the water is uninviting, but it is a good place to chill, away from crowded locations.
