We are delighted to welcome you in our international athmosphere- Mortens inn is an traditional danish name for a restaurant and we had by law in the old days - Royal previliged Inn´s where you could rest and eat on your horse ride thru the contry. I made Mortens Inn in my parents living room when i was 7-8 years old and it has been my dream all my youth to have my own restaurant and in 1997 I opend first time just after i in 1996 was winning the titel Chef og the year in Denmark. Now we are running on year 19 in reality and in more professional surroundings than in my childhood- we have for 19 years been concidered being the top restaurant og the town and it is our goal always to keep that posision. I hope you will enjoy your visit in our specious luxury surronding with biggest wine selection in town and a nearly full collection of Dom perignon´s since 1929. Mortens kro has 3 stars in danish restaurant guide and best rated rastaurant in city Aalborg for nearly always- Mortens inn has since 2007 been the city's only restaurant with all 6 knives/forks in the local newspaper Nordjyske and their anonymous reviewer corps have visited the restaurant three times - since 2007 and all 3 times with a full house as the city's only.
