A few minutes from the beautiful Otranto, immersed in the green of the cultivated fields and the enchanting Mediterranean scrub, stands the SCALELLE Agritourism Company: the ideal place to spend a holiday of tranquility and relaxation. Surrounded by characteristic dry stone walls, the structure covers 20 hectares of land and is the perfect place for those who want to stay in a real farm and enjoy the real typical dishes of Salento cuisine. It has comfortable and cozy apartments, ample parking, playground, soccer field and two dining rooms. All services that, combined with the friendliness and hospitality of the Merico family, offer a truly unforgettable holiday. The apartments, all independent and ground floor, are equipped with kitchenette, bathroom, flat screen TV, air conditioning / heating, fridge / freezer and large veranda for the exclusive use of the guest. For camping lovers, in the farm there are large spaces, naturally shaded, for tent places.

Pride of place is our typical Salento cuisine, prepared with products from the farm. You will be overwhelmed by the true and authentic flavors of the area: an endless selection of starters, homemade pasta, beans and chicory, grilled meat ... are just some of our specialties. The Agrituristica SCALELLE has become over the years a fixed point for the organization of ceremonies such as confirmations, communions, anniversaries, baptisms and other important events. The menu varies from 14 to 16 euros per person. Reservation is welcome.

The minizoo is the real attraction for our little guests, who can spend hours and hours to see and caress the donkey Arturo, the Carolina cow, but also ostriches, llamas, horses, ponies, Tibetan goats and poultry animals like rabbits, hens, geese, ducks and peacocks.

In your free time you will find a five-a-side football field, a playground and a reading area: an enchanting place immersed in an age-old pinewood where it will be easy to "get lost" among the silence of nature and birdsong. For art lovers in the company are held courses of sculpture on Pietra Leccese directed by Prof. Sandro Marinacci. The company is certified Bioagricert, for 15 years it deals with organic crops: it produces wheat, barley, oats, vegetables, olives and in spring offers interesting educational paths to preschools and primary schools.
