Sochi Arboretum

The Sochi Arboretum is a monument of landscape architecture located in the Khosta district of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai. It is It was founded 1889, and now its unique collection of flora and fauna includes 1800 types of trees and bushes, aviaries with exotic parrots, peacocks and ostriches. There are special zones with the floral collections from the Caucasus, Australia, Mediterranean, Northern and Southern Americas, Chinese and Japanese gardens. The park is decorated with ponds, fountains, sculptures and pavilions. A cable-way connects avenue Kurortny Prospect with the highest point of the park.
