Strinilas Stables forms part of Mount Pantokrator Equestrian Centre and our mission is to share with you our enchanted mountain and love of the horse. Strinilas is the highest continuously inhabited village on Corfu and your gateway to the secrets hidden beyond the tarmac and well beaten tourist tracks. Long before 1347, when the first monastery was built, a hardy and independent people populated these upper reaches of the mountain to escape pirates, greedy landlords and countless invaders. Survival without horses, mules and donkeys was impossible and the villagers love for these animals has not diminished to this day. Neither has our love for the mountain that has given us a way of life we would love to share with you. Horseback is the only way to explore and discover the secrets of the mountain and our qualified staff can ensure the safety and comfort of every level of rider from beginner to experienced.
