Description

The structure of Teato Margaret was designed in full Liberty style by Francesco De Giglio, the Margherita was the first building built in Bari in reinforced concrete, and unique in Europe for the particular building on stilts. Being completely surrounded by water theater was connected to the mainland by a pontoon. The inauguration of the theater with the name Kursaal Margherita took place August 22, 1914.
