Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo

The Major Theaters and Study of the Cultural Center Public Library Julio Mario Santo Domingo integrate the Cultural Center of the same name, infrastructure of public property, donated by the Santo Domingo family to the Capital District.

The Theaters are part of the network of scenarios of Bogotá whose administration is in the first instance in charge of the District Institute of the Arts IDARTES, entity attached to the Ministry of Culture, Recreation and Sports of the city.

The Mayor and Studio Theaters are located at 170th Avenue, No. 67-51, between Autopista Norte and Avenida Boyacá.

How to get?

North Highway or Seventh Race If you come from south to north you can reach Calle 170, and then turn west towards Avenida Boyacá. If you come from north to south you can turn west on Calle 170 until you reach the Cultural Center.

Boyacá Avenue If you come from south to north on Avenida Boyacá, you can reach Calle 170 and then turn left. Two streets ahead, find the Cultural Center.

Transmilenio Once you have reached Portal del Norte, located on Calle 170, you can take the San José feeder bus and get off at the fourth stop. Cross San Jose Park and enter through the back entrance of the Cultural Center.

SITP The new Integrated Public Transport Service SITP has three blue bus routes that reach the Cultural Center: E61: Has the notice Barrio San José or Calle 222, according to the direction of the route. 330: You have the notice La Estrellita or Puerta al llano, according to the direction of the route. 421: It has the San Cipriano or Porciuncula notice, according to the direction of the route.
