Teatrul Ararat BAIA MARE

Established in 2008 by actor and director Claudiu Pintican, who wanted a flexible environment where he could express himself artistically, Ararat Theater is the first independent independent theater in Baia Mare. Ever since the conception, Ararat wanted to be a "custom-made theater", which could show performances not only on the stage of the institutions but especially in unconventional spaces, whether clubs, bars, restaurants, conference rooms , exhibition halls, or even outdoors at the invitation of economic agents or institutions. He was also thought of as a "dungeon theater": performances use a minimal decoration, easy to carry from one side to the other, and even the country. Because Ararat Theater did not play only in Baia Mare and several other cities in Maramures County, but also in Cluj, Bucharest, Iasi, Oradea, Tg.Mures, Arad. If in Bucharest he was invited to a famous venue for the great names of the Romanian stage he hosted - Green Hours, Arad was invited twice in 2008 and 2009 to the Chamber Theater and Underground Festival, each time the reaction of the public and the organizers was more than positive. The Ararat Theater was well received and the Street and Pub Theater Festival, organized in 2008 at the Orădene Autumn. Also worth mentioning is the departure of Ararat Theater across the country, twice spent in 2008 and 2009 with the Gunier and Bigudiuri shows in Frankfurt am Mein, Munich, Stuttgart and Augsburg.
