Agia Triada is a Minoan archaeological site over the Messara Plain that dominates to the west while Phaistos, 4 km distant, dominates it to the east, in central Crete. The complex was not a palace, but rather a city or even a royal villa whose name is derived from one of the two religious buildings located nearby, Aghia Triada or Holy Trinity. © crete.decouverte.free.fr
