Fons de Visscher was a respected fishmonger in Helmond in Brabant for 27 years. Until in 2012, driven by his love for fish, good wine and Burgundian life, he founded The Seafood Bar.

The Seafood Bar is a modern seafood restaurant offering a range of the freshest fish & seafood. We prepare these beautiful products daily with great care and passion, so that the pure flavors come into their own. In a relaxed, cozy setting, we are happy to offer you a great and tasty experience.

The Seafood Bar works exclusively with fresh fish and seafood of the best quality. That means unprocessed, without additives, with a transparent and responsible origin and where possible organic and Fair Trade. The wild fish that we use is preferably sustainable and line-caught. All products are carefully selected and prepared according to traditional methods. Our fine wines have also been selected with great care and can be combined extremely well with fish dishes, crustaceans and shellfish.
