Formerly known as Lower Slaughter Manor…

The Slaughters Manor House re-opened its doors after an extensive three month refurbishment of the entire ground floor, in March 2016, with a new name and a new sophisticated countryside concept.

The Slaughters Manor House is a contemporary country house hotel, located in the picturesque village of Lower Slaughter, right in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Privately owned by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, this stunning 17th century manor house combines sophisticated interiors with a contemporary interpretation of countryside life, attentive service and a relaxed ambience.

The restaurant at The Slaughters Manor House is one of the most acclaimed in the Cotswolds, and the proud holder of three AA rosettes by the AA Restaurant Guide. Nik Chappell, executive chef, focuses his menus on celebrating the Cotswolds’ excellent regional produce.

The village of Lower Slaughter is considered to be amongst the prettiest in England and is a popular destination all year round for guests wishing to escape to the countryside. The area is perfect for discovering the Cotswolds on foot or venturing further afield to the thriving market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden.
