Theater-AG Edertalschule

Welcome to the Theater-AG of the Edertalschule Frankenberg (THAG)!

The THAG is a voluntary school working group open to all students of grades 11-13. Currently it comprises about 40 active participants (performers and technicians).

Our work is always the work on a specific project: this begins with the selection of the piece, the structure and the main focuses of the staging. Then we develop the scenes, the set design, the costumes and the layout of the poster and program booklet. All steps are worked out together and sometimes discussed violently until we have a result.

Before the performances (between the end of April and the middle of May) rehearsals take place weekly, plus full-time main and rehearsal rehearsals shortly before the performances.
