Located in the north of the Oriental Carpathians, the Tihuța Pass is a transitional zone between the Bârgău and the Dornelor areas in northern Transylvania. It is also a place that connects two parts of Romania: Transylvania and Bukovina. The pass is also mentioned in the famous Dracula novel, written by Bram Stoker. In the novel, this was the gate to the realm of the Count of Dracula. © iStock/ Ivanica Monica
